About the Book

For more than a thousand years, Connor has endured the curse of his Celtic clan. In accordance with the teachings of his people, Connor will not find true happiness until he is united with his "heart mate"-the one woman who literally holds the other half of his heart. A warrior for William, Duke of Normandy, Connor agrees to help the Duke fight for the Crown of England. Connor sets sail for the shores of England, sensing that his destiny awaits.

For the young and beautiful Saorla, the death of King Edward frees her from facing an arranged marriage, but she is unprepared for how the arrival of William the Conqueror will drastically alter her life. Saorla has always known she was different because of her special gift of communicating with animals, but the arrival of a handsome ancient warrior who forcefully enters her life claiming her as his forces her to challenge those she loves most for the answers she must have.

Soon after Connor and Saorla meet, they must confront age-old secrets and destroy the evil surrounding them. Only then can they fulfill their destiny.

About the Author

Born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia, Teresa Meyer served in the U.S. Navy until retiring as a chief petty officer. After attaining her MSCS, she decided to fulfill her life long dream of writing historical romance. Teresa currently lives in Colorado with her husband and two sons.
