About the Book
The projects, food stamps and roaches symbolized where Tya Michaels came from but she refused to allow it to determine where she was going.
In The Divine Order, Tya Michaels rises to success, from the bottom rung of society. She becomes a highly successful attorney, attains fortune and riches and even has a good husband at her side, to share it all with. Ironically, at the moment in which Tya seems to have "gained the whole world," her world comes crashing down as her husband files for divorce. A confused Tya can't understand why until divine intervention reveals that she has forgotten about the divine order, which is: God First, Family Second, Career Third. Tya is forced to suffer the painful consequences resulting from such disobedience. In the process, she learns what it truly means to "gain the whole world and lose your soul."
