About the Book

Wade Lawson made one run-down and sliding stop, looking back over his horse's haunches at perfect elevens tracked in the soft dirt. Finally he had the horse to take him to the finals of the National Reining Horse Association Futurity. When his sons and their friend, a young veterinarian student uncover a plot that rocks the Quarter Horse industry, Wade is forced to re-examine his priorities and his own need to love and be loved.

About the Author

Betty and her husband, Jim, own and operate a Quarter Horse training facility in Middle Tennessee. They have worked with youth in 4H in Florida and Tennessee, holding clinics and encouraging countless young riders that share their love of horses. They especially enjoy the spirit of camaraderie that exists among the Reining horse community and are members of the American Quarter Horse Association and National Reining Horse Association.
