About the Author
Barbara Morgan Lobodovsky was born in Palo Alto, California. She never strayed to far from that state until she met Kon. They met while working at Pacific Gas & Electric Company in San Francisco. She married Konstantin in February 1975. They live in Penn Valley, California, in the summer, and spend the winter months in Surprise, Arizona.
Her first love is singing. She started singing five years ago in church choirs, and has advanced to solo performances in California and in Arizona. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines in Phoenix, Arizona, and is a member of the West Valley Chorale in Sun City, under the direction of Paul Yoder. She enjoys reading and of course traveling as often as possible.
This is her first undertaking at writing, but one that she thoroughly enjoyed. She hopes to continue to write about her experiences as an American in the Russian community.
