About the Book

Author Shun Mie Shee uses her own poignant experiences growing up in rural, primitive Taiwan and combines them with tales she has gathered over the years from her skin care clients to offer practical, contemporary advice on the American relationship.

About the Author

Shun Mie Shee was born in the small village of Chun Yan Chun near Taipei, Taiwan.

She wanted to raise her daughter in America and persevered to achieve this goal. She now has her own business, Shun Mie?s skin clinic, in Greenwich, Connecticut.
