About the Book

Writing from the tip of Borneo is compilation of some of the articles by Amde Sidik that were appeared in his guest column Malaysia's Daily Express for the last two years up to 2004.

It is about local Malaysia-Sabah political affairs in 2000s. Amde's articles are his observations and comment on the issues of social justice and economic justice. Sometimes he can be down to earth, like, who should hold public office and what they suppose to do.

His regular readers love to see his provoking column. But he often disappears, and reappears only when he feels like it. Pity.

"Sabah is a sick State. If only past politicians and governments were willing to accept good suggestions raised by people like Amde Sidik and Sabah would not have been in such state"
