About the Book

Three boys spend their childhood together experiencing life in very similar ways. After spending two decades apart, their paths meet up again. How different things are for each of them now, some of it predictable, some good, some bad.

This story is about how personal choices affect the outcome of our lives. More importantly, this story is about how some things that happen in our lives are clearly not a result of our choice but the intervention of One who cares more about the choices we make than we do.

About the Author

Alex Pattillo, 17-years-old, lives in Atlanta, GA, and is a senior at Whitefield Academy. He is the oldest of three children. The Games We Play is his third published book. His other two books are Steep Cliffs and Sunlight. In addition to writing, Alex enjoys cross country, track, drama, and is now student body president of his high school. After graduating from Whitefield Academy, Alex plans to attend college and major in political science.
