About the Book

A small, brown mouse born in Mr. Pajolly's Pet Shop has an incredible gift for escaping. He is trained by his Pappy to escape from every cage in the pet shop. One day, the mouse is adopted by a small human with tight blond curls and is given a name, Hero. Desperate to let his family know that he is okay, Hero travels through the ventilation system of the building. However, his escape does not go unnoticed. Three black rats of the RPFF-Revolutionary Pet Freedom Fighters-a secret organization that frees mistreated household pets-enlist Hero's help to save other animals from cruel, senseless humans. From hamsters to horses, fish to frogs, guinea pigs to great danes, each escape gives Hero the confidence to attempt the Big Rescue-a plan to free his family and all the animals in Mr. Pajolly's Pet Shop.
