Colliding colors
in a palate we created
run together to blend
a portrait of exploding desire.
I begin the sketch from
memory and fill
in lines of character
produced from voices,
photos and perception.
The pictures take form-
live and breathe
each moment we
perpetuate their life
with our love.

Throughout this collection of warm and witty poetry, Leslie Chiappetti uses vivid, feminine imagery to relate emotions as a vibrant kaleidoscope of colorful experiences.

About the Author

Leslie Chiappetti grew up in a town north of Chicago. Her time is spent going to flea markets, writing, and creating stained-glass pieces.
