About the Book

Victoria Eustice's grandparents always hosted the big family dinner and present opening occasion at Christmas. Holiday time was made all the more special for Victoria with an array of homemade desserts including a pound cake (that her grandpa liked over-baked on purpose!), a fruit and nut studded cake wrapped in a brandy-soaked cheesecloth, a gooey coconut cake and a colorful ribbon cake with thick chocolate icing. It would come as no surprise that Victoria would follow in her grandma's footsteps by opening up a bakery specializing in homemade cakes. Soon word of the little "Cakery" got out, orders started pouring in, employees were hired, wedding cakes put together and delivered; and people were able to enjoy a truly made-from-scratch bakery cake. Knowing that everyone enjoys delicious food and loving company and friends, Victoria has developed this cookbook filled with Desserts and Appetizers having one of her Appetizer, Drinks and Desserts dinner is a favorite meal at her house for family and friends. Since she believes in the saying "Eat Dessert First", that's the way this cookbook is presented.

Dedication: This book is dedicated to my wonderful husband, children and friends without whose encouragement, support and valiant taste testing (sometimes many times over!!) would never have been written. I love you all!

About the Author

Victoria Eustice lives in Fairfax, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C. with her husband. As a child, she looked forward to visits with her grandmother whose love of baking was instilled in her granddaughter. Victoria drew on the positive feelings people get when eating delicious food and opened up a little ?Cakery? over 20 years ago which is still in business today. Since her retirement, she still likes nothing better than spending time in the kitchen. Here is a cookbook of some of her favorite tested recipes.
