LaVona Stalcup Reid, born in Forbes, Missouri, completed her public schooling in Oregon, Missouri, and earned a Bachelor?s degree at Tarkio College. A strong believer in the arts, she is the creator of the I-You Peace Symbol, that represents her belief that peace in the world can be reached through one person at a time.

Dr. Terry Phillip Dixon, a native of Bethel, Ohio, is an author, poet, educator, and college administrator. He has written numerous published articles, poems, songs, melodramas, children?s radio plays, as well as, instructional activities for classroom teachers.
