About the Author

David A. Bragen is the author of the DAVEN Management Series and founder of DAVEN Consulting, Inc., a firm dedicated to helping publishers make the most cost effective vendor selections. In his career, David has held a number of senior management positions with R.R. Donnelley, North American Directory Corporation, Quebecor Printing Inc., and, most recently, Quebecor World, once the largest commercial printer in the world. As a Division President for Quebecor World, David?s responsibilities included profit-and-loss (P&L) for ten manufacturing facilities, a national sales force, and numerous support departments including finance and human resources. He managed a team of over 2,400 employees and was responsible for top line revenues of $400,000,000+ and an annual Earnings Before Interest & Taxes (EBIT) target exceeding $70,000,000.

David holds both a BBA and MBA from Loyola University in Chicago, IL. He resides in Carol Stream, IL with his wife, two children, and two dogs. He enjoys hunting, golf, woodworking, and writing.
