Hank and Alyson follow the money trail to Central America, where they discover that someone has gotten there first. They race to find the money before it's moved out of their reach. After an attempt on his life, Hank realizes that protecting Alyson is much more important than getting the story, but the only way to do that is to find the money and the killer-before he finds them.

Frank Pierson has worked in finance and insurance for more than twenty-five years, spending part of his career in Barbados and Bermuda. He lives with his wife and three daughters outside New York City, where he is working on his next book.
