About the Book

Author Elizabeth Woolsey-Herbert offers a unique and touching story of her life as an equine veterinarian in semirural Australia. About the Author

Elizabeth Woolsey Herbert, DVM, was born and raised in Northern California. She received her DVM from Auburn University and practiced equine medicine in Santa Rosa, California with her father. She immigrated to South Australia in 1991 where she lives with her daughter.
