About the Book
This novel is a spy thriller. A bizarre set of circumstances separate German twins at birth. Neither one is aware of the others existence. Karl is reared in Germany and becomes a pilot in the Luftwaffe. Jacob migrates to America and volunteers to fly for the RAF before America entered the war. They find themselves on opposite sides in the great struggle of World War II. Most of the historical events in the story and the well known historical figures are real and accurate; however, the story is fictitious. Double Exposure gives insight to the reader how Hitler and his henchmen came to power, and how they were able to manipulate a populace in such a way as to gain control over a country that had prided itself for centuries as having contributed so much to world civilization. Karl is shot down over England and is captured. Jacob assumes his identity and is inserted into Germany by British SIS and American OSS. The intriguing plots and twists will keep the pages turning and a surprise ending will make you gasp.
