iUniverse author Nancy Gianni founds GiGi's Playhouse

Celebrating children and adults with Down syndrome through the #GenerationG campaign

#GenerationG by Nancy Gianni

Nancy Gianni, author of #GenerationG

After her daughter, GiGi, was diagnosed with Down syndrome, Nancy Gianni founded her nonprofit, GiGi's Playhouse, to provide a loving, supportive community to all people with Down syndrome. In her book, #GenerationG, Gianni shares the personal struggles and joys that influenced her vision of global acceptance for all. The profits from the sale of her book will go toward GiGi's Playhouse and furthering the GenerationG campaign's mission.

Today, there are 33 free-standing Playhouses throughout the United States and Mexico, serving more than 30,000 participants and families. Free programs are offered to all families so that cost will never be a barrier to achievement and acceptance.
