Crucified with Christ

This mighty and faithful God of hers has informed her of a possession she has yet to surrender. He further shows her the remaining stain left to be cleansed from upon her soul. She quivers, not knowing what possibly could be left for her to surrender. Her voice screams with sorrow, "My Lord, I have given you everything, there is nothing left!" The love one she speaks to responds, "My child, yes you have given me what troubles you, as well as, all but one of your sins, but you must surrender ALL for me to cleanse all."

Her soul is bewildered at this time, not comprehending what her merciful God is referring to. She asks again, she begs, "My Lord, My Life, please take it from me, that which I still have!" He gently explains that He will force nothing from a beloved child of His Father, that her free will must choose to surrender what is left to surrender.

The compassion of His heart causes Him to give in when He realizes she has no idea of which He speaks. What possibly could be left, she thinks, after she has vowed her life to His Will and not her own. So, with no more time being wasted, her mighty Savior said these heart shattering words, "My child, you have given me all you know to have had but now I want what you hide." It was hidden so well that she no longer could see it, this being the evil greatness of identity. The very identity placed there by the evil one himself. This identity was one that wore the ungodly name of -- "Misery."

"My child," He said. "Give to me the identity of your old self, give to me -- Your Misery. I must be given it by you in order to destroy it with my restorative fire of purgation." His stern voice informs her that such a thing is not of God, therefore, not of her new self. It had to be removed from her soul in order for Him to continue to draw her near. She was crushed under the weight of such a revelation, of still carrying such a ugly identity! She quickly and willingly surrendered it up so her Lord could remove it a once.

With all her might, she begged this gentle giant of hers to please take it from her. He went further to say, it is much more complex of a task than she could imagine. You see, the self-unforgiveness that became misery, it is stitched together by every sin committed. Because of this, every stain of sin had to be revealed, re-visited and removed, one at a time. Un-forgiveness is a poison, it must not be allowed to remain or it will grow into a beast of a mountain. A crushing mountain of bitterness, one that will then seem to huge to overcome and conquer.

Going back will tell the story of her old testament, so to speak. One that will be fulfilled by the new testament, same as the Bible. Even though she did not know it, God always promised to save her from hell. And, that is exactly what He did! Although she now knows who she is in Him, that she now possesses the strength within His Grace, her anxiety still grows with each passing moment. It grows until something amazing happens. She suddenly is now swept up by her Lord and taken within a journey into the past! Wow! This great and mysterious lover of her soul now begins to walk her hand in hand back in time!
