About the Book

After Lil Mo gets dressed, eats breakfast, and hugs his mother, he is ready to walk with his friend, Buddy, to his first day of preschool. Lil Mo’s first day is so fun! He meets his teacher, Mrs. Tate, who introduces him to his classmates, makes a new friend on the playground, and walks home with Buddy. Through it all, Lil Mo learns independence and that school is cool. In this colorful tale for little ones, a boy sets out for his first day of preschool where he discovers that school is way more fun than he ever imagined.

About the Author

Lisa Malloon earned a BA in theatre arts and speech from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in elementary education from Walden University. She has worked as a preschool teacher in the Atlantic City Public School District and as a K-5 tutor for Sylvan Learning Centers. Lisa lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she is writing a stage play and the sequel to Lil Mo Goes to Preschool.
