About the Author

Author Lou Enzo Mayson is a survivor of a pathetic and ridiculous childhood. While plagued with constant verbal abuse and physical attacks, he endured multiple extreme conditions and harsh realities. After growing up mostly in childrens homes and boys ranches, he admits that he was lost after struggling through high school. He later received an honorable dis- charge from the army after spending 13 months on the DMZ in Korea, as a Vietnam era veteran. In a state of curiosity, wanderlust and confusion, he lived for several years hitch hiking all over the U.S. and Mexico. Taking on the position of a guitar playing poet and song writer, he found solace and met many good down to earth, informed and loving people. All of the songs he has recorded have been inspired by true life experiences and events. He now continues helping others to understand the need to capitalize on determination in order to find complacency through the strength of affirmations.
