About the Author
Billy Jack Cottingham (Bill) was born on the Texas - Mexico border in La Feria, Texas. He went to public schools in McAllen, Texas. He attended Victoria College, Victoria, Texas; Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas; and, La Universidad de las Americas in Mexico City D.F. He graduated from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, Texas. In 1963, Billy married Annie Pollok. They have two children and two grandchildren. Billy and Annie live in Dallas, Texas.
