Peace Be Still

As a Christian we have to remember that our walks are going to be attacked daily because we are on purpose for The Lord. My number one struggle is staying firm in the word and believing what God said. It's amazing how God and I will have an awesome experience together and He gives me a word/promise to stand on. The next day at work, home, or even church, the enemy will attack my mind and allow me to "see" how what God promised me won’t happen. There have also been times when I try to control the situation to make it happen. God loves it when we rest in Him. He can't get the glory in anything that we try to make happen. He is an omnipotent, omniscient God and it pleases Him when we show God that we trust Him, we have Faith in Him, and we believe that He will do just what He said. God has given you some promises such as healing, a child, a spouse, a job, house, or etc. Your promise may even be something intangible such as peace, joy, or love! God says stop trying to figure out how it can happen and let me show you just Who I Am, I am going to blow your mind! There's a scripture that talks about being planted by a river even in intense, heated times like a tree. God is our source (water) and we need to be like that tree that's planted by that river so that even in the hottest (hardest) times we stay confident and at peace because we know who supplies us. God will give us what we need and give us the promises that He said He would give us. It’s going to happen! Stay rooted and rest in Him!
