It shares the pitfalls that many have fallen prey to and how to not only recover but keep it from happening again. This guide was penned by a powerful woman who has lived through all walks of relationships. She has also lived as a single mom, a married woman, divorcee, Christian, preacher, and professional, and she has walked in many other shoes concerning love and relationships. Dr. Gilbert explores the various factors that may affect life as a single and the issues that influence dating decisions. Touching on what she believes to be the five basic components that affect one’s ability to live single, she discusses how she learned to live her best life realistically single. She tackles topics such as online dating, multidating (a term she coined herself), and the red flags that present themselves in today’s dating game.

About the Author

Dr. Jennifer Gilbert is a mother of two adult children and a grandmother to one beautiful grandson. She has written books for every walk of life to include Christianity and Education. This is her first single’s self-help book, but demand says this won’t be her last. Through her “Teach Me How to Live Realistically Single” Think Tank Group a number of married and single people have flocked to her weekly live Facebook chats to get her divine revelation of the lifestyle we call “singleness”. After two failed marriages, and a season of sexual preference confusion, Dr. Gilbert gathered the members of her being, rededicated her life to Christ holistically, and began a life of celibacy in await for her mate. Through her single’s work she has found her own self to be more empowered to live a better life as a single, celibate, professional woman. Her charge to all singles is to live a life of forward thinking accountability. Looking forward to how today’s decisions will affect tomorrow’s relationships. Teach Me How to Live Realistically Single is just the beginning of that work. She has also created her own card game line for singles to occupy them with fun, date night activities to divert the attention away from inappropriate and premature energies that could lead one to regret.
