About the Book
Irma Collier-Anaya was a Mexican immigrant who came to the United States at just fifteen. She had to overcome many obstacles and boundaries. Being deaf was not the only obstacle, but also coming from a traditional Mexican family, she had to fight for her educational rights. And she had dreams but filled with despair as well.
About the Author
Cole Collier is a resident of Wenatchee Washington and a graduate from Eastmont High School and Wenatchee Valley College. He is 18 years old, and is attending Central Washington University and majoring in history and education.
