Introduction Every movie, every TV show, even older relatives tell you that college is the best time of time of your life. They focus on the perks of college, like the constant partying, and how this will be the last time in your life with no responsibilities. However, as a working adult, you still get to party (this is why happy hour was invented), but now you don’t have homework and your bank account has a positive balance. So if you're grieving the fact that late nights and good times are seemingly behind you, consider the list below of the things you now have to look forward to after graduation day: 1. Say goodbye to your most dreaded day of the week, and say hello to #SundayFunday, because now you’ll be at brunch instead of the library. 2. You’ll lose weight (at least initially-see point 1) without even trying from the sheer lack of eating pizza and other refined carbohydrates daily. 3. You now get paid to go on vacation. 4. Visits to the doctor are now a treat because it means you get to leave work early. 5. Thursday night still feels like the beginning of the weekend, but now you have more money to cover your bar tab. 6. Weddings will soon take over your social calendar- free dinner, open bar, and partying like you never left college… what’s not to like? 7. Who says 21 is the only milestone until 30?- at 25 you can now rent a car without worrying if you’ll be charged a fee. 8. You no longer get carded everywhere you go- especially if you’re in business casual clothes at the grocery store after 5:00 p.m. 9. Your wardrobe gets an upgrade from free t-shirts and school spirit wear. 10. Not only will you dress better, but you’ll also be able to get your hair cut by a professional and more than twice a year. 11. Work travel is like taking a mini-vacation that you don’t have to pay for. 12. You can now go back to reading books just for fun, as opposed to educational purposes. 13. You can now afford to get your friends and family actual Christmas and birthday presents that don't involve handmade cards or $5 coffee shop gift cards. See? Your best days are yet to come, and they don’t include cafeteria food, noise violations, or sleep deprivation. Whether you have landed a job already, or you're still in the process, you are probably feeling a mix of emotions about graduating from college. It's totally normal to feel a concoction of emotions that will make you feel like a freshman all over again. This book is designed to be a resource for you. As someone who has lived and learned, I'm here to help so that you don't have to relive those freshman memories in the professional world. Everything from information regarding your student loan, to which clothes you should have in your closet can be found in the following pages. Each chapter has a different theme that makes "adulting" a little more entertaining. You'll learn a strategy for paying off your loan ASAP, along with the tools and tips to help you achieve this feat. You can skim, skip, or reference it. However, if you read it, you'll be better prepared than I was to conquer your finances and your life after college.

About the Author
A Pure Michigan native (and Western Michigan University graduate), Angela currently resides in Cincinnati, OH, where she lives with roommates, so she can afford designer handbags and traveling. If she isn’t writing, she’s watching a Hallmark Movie with a bowl of popcorn, surrounded by fall-scented candles-no matter the season. If this whole writing thing doesn’t work out, she hopes to pursue a full-time career naming nail polish colors, and given the choice, she would rather consume Brussels sprouts than cake.
