About the Book

A grizzly bear finds a little baby girl alone in a camp. He carries the child back to his little village. All the other animals wanted to see the child, but Ring Paw wouldn’t let anyone else around. For five years she grew with the animals. Ring Paw took her to the camp where the other humans were and left her there.

About the Author

Born Carl Sheffield on December 17, 1949 to a share cropper in north west Georgia, a cotton farmer. Like as most farmer’s son, he couldn’t wait to leave the farm. He joined the army at a very young age and went to Vietnam and several other countries. After returning home, he drove a truck for forty two years then retired and owned a restaurant. At this time, he is starting to take writing lessons.
