About the Author

Jill Colasuonno-McKenna is a high school English teacher in Portland, Oregon. Veronica Wine, who created the illustrations for this book, was once her student. Jill earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Linfield College and holds a Master of Education dgree from the University of Portland. She enjoys reading with her students and her son, being with her family and playing fetch with her dog, Holly.
