And time will show that worldly things are not the things we need … —Darryl Snoddy Inspired by a newfound willingness to share his innermost emotions and thoughts with the world, Darryl Snoddy opens a window into his heart where he poetically reflects on his unique journey through life as he learned to embrace the lessons that accompanied his joyful, inspiring, and challenging experiences. Snoddy lyrically explores a variety of topics that include unfair judgment of others, the struggles of a Vietnam veteran, the unconditional love between soul mates, an important lesson learned from an old neighbor, the heartache and regret after the loss of a cherished friend, and a weary mother’s struggles as she does what she must to help her children survive. Through My Window shares a collection of poems that allows an honest view into one man’s life as he walks down an enlightened path that leads him to thoughtful discoveries about himself and others around him.

About the Author

Darryl Snoddy was born in Bayside, New York, and served in the United States Navy for more than twelve years. He has two children, Samantha and Dahrel, and one grandchild, Sienna. Darryl currently resides in Florida. Through My Window is his first book of poetry.
