Passion stands silent in deep thought for what seemed like forever but was only a few seconds. She thought about how blind she’d been and how she should have just admitted her feeling for Christian a long time ago. Then she thought about Kahleeq, he was everything she’d ever wanted in a man. In that very moment she didn’t want to just screw him, she wanted to be his. This was more than just a sexual attraction, even though she knew that the sex would be incredible. In that very moment she could see herself having his babies, washing his cloths, cooking his meals and cleaning that very apartment that they were standing in. It was in that moment that all the feelings she’d suppressed for so long came boiling to the surface. She knew that she had to get out of there before her emotions took over and displayed what her conscious mind was attempting to lock away. Christian interrupted her thoughts by gently grasping her chin and lifting her face until their eyes met. He put his lips so close to hers that they almost touched. As she closed her eyes preparing for the kiss of her life, he slides to the left and whispers in her ear, “Well, if you can’t feel that, then I guess I was wrong about us” at which point he lets go of her chin and takes a step back

About the Author
Aquarius Star grew up in the state of Georgia, inside the city of Atlanta. Having lived in several of the poorest and most crime-ridden neighborhoods in the city, she is a true A-T-alien. Star came up in the public school system while also enduring several hardships in the home. This, however, did not stop her from becoming an accomplished young woman, graduating summa cum laude from college and having several works of literature already in the making. One of Star’s biggest passions has always been writing. Since third grade, she could always remember written expressions being her escape from reality. Whether she was writing a poem or songs, ghost writing raps for others artists, or creating short stories, there were always pen and paper nearby wherever she was. Star currently works as a conflict resolution specialist, and Temptation is her first break-out novel. She is ecstatic to share her vision through her characters with readers all over the world.
