About the Book

As a child, I grew up looking at a mother being battered from a marriage and turning things around from being battered to making great achievement in the political arena. She served her community to make life better for all people, as she went through her own struggles in life for a change.

About the Author

Curtis Davis currently lives in Warner Robins, Ga and is married to Louvonia Davis Curtis has two Children Terrod Davis and Tushanda Davis and has five Grand Children from his first marriage. Curtis attended Southwest High Atlanta, Tennessee State and Morris Brown College. In 1983 he began to work with his mother Grace Davis with Atlanta Women and Youth Against Crime as Vice President where he start to work in community action. He serve on many boards from YMCA, EOA, Grady Hospital just to name a few. And ran for political office and serve as a Political Consultant and have receive many awards for Community Action in the City of Atlanta.
