About the Author

Calvin Lovick is the senior managing partner of C.L. Lovick & Associates, a retained executive search firm, and the publisher/founder of Lovick Career Journal, an international employment publication. Lovick has more than thirty-three years of experience in human resource corporate recruitment, fifteen years of experience in publishing, and six years of experience in sports event planning. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business management from Kean University, New Jersey, and served in the US Air Force from 1968 to 1971. Angela M. Cranon-Charles has been the publisher/owner of Hollywood Scriptwriter Magazine (www.hollywoodscriptwriter.com) since 2003, and the co-publisher and editor-in-chief of Lovick Minority Career Journal since 1991. She holds a master of arts in political science from California State University, Long Beach, a bachelor of arts in journalism from San Diego State University, and a professional designation journalism certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a professor at several colleges and universities.
