About the Book

Martha’s desire in life has been to see the world. This book is about her travels to mainly two interesting countries Turkey and Southern Africa. She tells about staying in hostels, her experiences, the people she met and the unusual places she saw. If you like reading about adventures you’ll enjoy this book. She has written three other travel books.

About the Author

Martha's passion has been traveling, living in foreign countries, and learning languages. She graduated in 1949 from the University at Berkeley. She taught in the Sudan and met her husband, now deceased. She has two sons, both electronic engineers and is a retired foreign language teacher.
