Meanwhile a confrontation nears actual combat in the forest Eld. It is nightfall, and Torman's forces have prepared for an assault against the Mordagi. Torman, along with his remaining sergeants sit on their mounts just out of view of the Mordagi. Their forces spread along a mile long attack line. A line of warriors determined to break through. All fully aware the time to do or die was at hand. Also knowing failure was probably certain death for any chances of the Mordagi ever being defeated. "The time has come men. This is do or die. If I do not make it Brigadune is still the best place for regrouping. For any of you that do not make it let it be known I hold each of you in the highest regards. Good luck!" A solemn look is exchanged between all. All knowing full well this could be their final action. They disperse to take up places along the line. Along the Mordagaiian front there is a uneasy calm. Every few feet there are archers roaming along with sentries placed indiscriminately amongst the trees. A swamp chameleon disguised as an owl also placed in the trees. Within sight behind these forces is the camp of that sector. Mixed in amongst this are fires , and tents where the bulk of the Mordagiian troops are resting or eating. At the commander's tent he looks over a piece of paper. A smile showing approval of the message.

In our own history there have been many classic examples of good verses evil. Now Badger will be faced with a life altering decision. His decision will take him away from earth along with all he is familair with to a place called Statureo. A place with some similarities but many more differences. He inexplicably crosses paths with the beautiful Miranda whom he makes this journey with. He goes to fight the evil Mordagi forces. In Statureo he joins the rebels known as the Covehi. The Mordagi are a tough enemy, ruthless, and have many allies. Badger knows this will not be an easy fight, but it must be fought. In this backdrop he falls in love with Miranda. Don't miss the exciting challenges Badger must face in this saga.
About the Author
BADGER'S LEGACY is the first book authored by Joe Leonard. Joe is married, and has two children. Joe is also 41 years old. Joe has maintained a quiet life in central Illinois while being a help to his community for over twenty years by being a volunteer firefighter. In addition to that Joe has maintained a EMT-B license to enhance what he can do for 9 years. When Joe is relaxing he enjoys science fiction, texas holdem poker, studying the history of warfare, and the occassional paintball in the summer months.
