Chapter 57 The Final Word! Can we control the dice? The answer is no! There is no way we can have absolute control over the end result of a tossed pair of dice. That being said, we can however take steps to attempt to influence the out come by the way we set and throw the dice. We can set the dice so fewer sevens will be expected. By keeping our tosses on axis by developing muscle memory and developing a consistent throw, we enhance our prospect of a favorable result. The toss is the key to consistent results. You can’t go out there and say, “I’m going to throw a seven.” You have one chance in six of doing so. You would be better off saying, “I’m going to throw a six or an eight.” You have one chance in four of doing so. My point is to get you thinking about what set is best for obtaining an expected result. Our main object is to throw less sevens than the next guy. The casinos say it can’t be done. Then why do they get so paranoid when some one gets on a hot roll? They tell us to hit the back wall with both dice. Don’t they know that’s exactly what we are trying to do? The players that practice the hardest are the one’s that win the most championships. The readers that practice the most are the ones that have winning sessions more often than others. My tip of the day is to practice and keep practicing until you can make that beautiful toss with your eyes closed and then practice some more.
