A reader may think that this book is replete with repetitions but this may not be so if you read meditatingly. I would not suggest the removal of any part of the book because the author has a very technical and masterly way of drawing the awareness and consciousness of his audience to what they either know or what they don’t know-and reconciling both in a way that would not hurt. This gap is glaring by the manifestation of great confusion between the God of Holiness and man's UN holiness. With man running away from God and hiding in his dead religious systems from where he irritates Him to maximum, God will surely step in as earlier said (Psm 199:126). His stepping in will be two fold: Revival and Judgement. This is seen in many cases, in the old as well as New Testament. In one of such confusion in the Old Testament, the Lord came down mightily on Mount Camel in two folds to vindicate his holiness. While some Jews were falling on their faces and sanctifying the true God of Holiness, the others-false prophets were being slaughtered. ................ We are today at midnight-apex of spiritual darkness with the saints completely absorbed by the standards of a rotten world on the eve of destruction. Here goes the cry “Behold, the bridegroom!” Can we now arise from slumber and sleep, and be ready to come out and meet Him before He pours out His wrath!…….. The expectancy of this book is that maturing and matured Saints will actually re-start practising through the Holy Spirit God’s original living NORMS for man as was from the beginning, before the fall. It is therefore a projection of livelihood that existed before, and is being re-installed for the New Heaven and earth to come(Isaiah 65:17-25). Yes! The NEW COMING KINDOM OF GOD, after the present is destroyed. We are not ignorant of the fact that redemption is just the process of taking us back ‘‘ BORN AGAIN’’ to the ‘Good’ that existed before the fall: And God saw everything that he had made and behold, it was VERY GOOD (Genesis 1:31). We therefore do not only believe to be saved and have eternal life but to re-start living the NORMS of God that He intended for man from the beginning (Times and Laws Daniel 7:25-28), that will continue in the New heaven and earth for ever: God has a greater and greater purpose for this age than simply saving souls from hell; “ He is bringing sons unto glory (Hebrew.2: 10). To support our thoughts, Arthur Wallis confirms that, God is not now concerned with improving the world, but with gathering out of it a people for His Name. He is forging an instrument, glorious and holy, that shall rule and administer the world in the coming age under the sovereignty of His son . What were those living norms established from the beginning that Adam and Eve were subjected to, before the fall? They will continue forever. Therefore, whether fallen or not, man is expected to live by them. …………. One very great misunderstanding in the Church of today is that over the issue of the word “Law”. And this is leading to the practice of lawlessness amongst the Saints of today: So also our beloved brother wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, speaking of this as he does in all his letters. There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware lest you be carried away with the error of Lawless men and lost your own stability(2nd Peter 3:15-17). Any honest Child of God will agree with us that some of those things amongst many others in Paul’s letters, hard to understand that are misinterpreted to cause lawlessness include: Galatians 2:15, 3:10-12, Romans 14:5, Galatians 4:1O, 1st Timothy 4:3- 4, Colossians 1O: 25, 1st Corinthians 16:2., Act 20:7. They will all be analysed in this book. As instruments chosen by God for His work, we think that we must be able to come out with a clear-cut understanding on the issue of Law in the New Testament, so that we may not teach others wrongly, and be responsible for their disobedience to God. It is better not to teach some one at all than teach him the wrong things for we shall be responsible for this before God (James 3:1-2). If with the Laws of men, the one who teaches another into wrong doing can never be set free, what more with the Law of God? We must never be responsible for the promotion of Lawlessness. ……… I will put my Laws in their MINDS and write them in their HEARTS From 8 vs. 10-13, deals with the new way of obedience of God’s Laws, through the Spirit: “ ---I will put my Laws into their MINDS and write them on their HEARTS---- ”. The HUMAN BEING is a SPIRIT that has a SOUL; and dwells in a BODY. The body is therefore just a house in which the spirit lives. The MIND just as EMOTION and WILL is a constituent of the SOUL. The SOUL therefore is that conscious and emotional part of a human being. Thus, a man’s MIND is that spiritual force or constituent of a man dwelling his SOUL that governs his EMOTION, which flow to actions (BODY).
