About the Author

Cheryl Adler earned a master’s degree in special education. She is a licensed clinical social worker and is a diplomat and fellow with the American Psychotherapy Association. Adler has more than twenty-five years of experience as a psychotherapist and addictions counselor. She lives in Rockland County, New York.
