About the Author

Francis Blessington is the author of Paradise Lost and the Classical Epic. He has also published two books of poems, Lantskip and Wolf Howl, a novel, The Last Witch of Dogtown, a verse play, Lorenzo de? Medici, and translations of Aristophanes? The Frogs and Euripedes? The Bacchae. He is a professor of English at Northeastern University.
