About the Book

One by one, their lives are entangled in a web of deceit. A tragic racial-profiling incident exposes their secrets, potentially ending their dreams. In order to survive, Robert, Shawn, and Jamal must confront their inner broken places, work together to fight the forces threatening to destroy them, and prove the bond of friendship is stronger than hatred.

About the Author

R. Anthony Martin grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a young man he was profoundly affected by a racial-profiling incident that caused the death of an innocent man. After earning a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh, Anthony relocated to New Jersey to pursue his career as a technical writer.
