The Chakra system is explored metaphorically in seven stories from the life of a woman of our time. The stories are but seven movements of a single song-a single life-and like everyone's stories, they resonate to the ultimate sound of the cosmos. They are stories of survival, love, struggle, bonding, communication, wisdom, and spirit, and the stories touch the heart.

About the Author

Carolyn North teaches movement and sound for healing and writes about her work, mostly in the form of fictionalized memoir. She believes that at this critical time in history, we need to be feeding the world with beauty in everyway we can. Her new book on Love, ECSTATIC RELATIONS, will appear in Fall, 2006. She has written about Synchronicity, Crop Circles and conscious dying. She lives in California with her husband, makes gardens and quilts, strawbale houses and pots of soup.
