About the Author

Harriet May Savitz is recipient of the PSLA Outstanding Pennsylvania Author Award. Her book Run, Don?t Walk (fiction-disabled) was nominated for the 1983?1984 California Young Reader Medal in the High School Category and was an ABC Afterschool Special produced by Henry Winkler. Savitz?s work appears in over 20 published books, Chicken Soup Series, newspapers and magazines.
