About the Author

Rock DiLisio is a member of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) and holds certificates in Egyptology from the University of Chicago's Oriental Institute and a certificate in archaeology from the United States Department of the Interior. He has studied archaeology at the University of Pittsburgh and is a member of the Oriental Institute/Field Museum and the Carnegie Museum systems. Rock DiLisio is a freelance writer and the author of historical books, such as American Advance (French and Indian War) and Firings from the Fox Hole (World War II). He is also the author of Italy Central and the fictional archaeology series, Three Kings of Casablanca, Stone of the Sahara and Palace of the Pharaoh, as well as Sherlock Holmes: Mysteries of the Victorian Era. Mr. DiLisio holds a Bachelor of Science from Robert Morris University and an MBA from City University of Seattle, as well as studies at UCLA.
