Louella Lawrence knows her daughter was murdered. She received the call that the young woman overdosed from heroin while attending Oxford University. About the Author

At seventeen, Stan A. Cowie—a native of Aberdeen, Scotland—began a five-year stint in the British Army, doing tours in the gulfs of Yemen, Bahrain, and Kenya as a combat soldier. In 1967, he immigrated to Canada where he lives today. The Punisher is his second novel.
