About the Author

The author currently lives in Atlanta, Ga. USA, which serves as his base camp. The author has traveled to all seven continents of the world. Altogether, John has visited over seventy countries. He has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and taken the Trans-Siberian railroad. John has a BA in History from Troy University and his MA in History and a minor in Geography from the University of Alabama. He is a former teacher. Travel is his passion. He enjoys travel, photography, and collecting historical artifacts.
