A look at lifeline with its scientific evolving mechanisms, systems and concepts reveals that a lot of people have not been able to know what is in a name. Partly, because of ignorance, because we fail to discover our passion or because we lack the courage to face our dreams. Some times I ask, what kills that childish zeal in growing children who at the question “what do you want to be when you grow up" quickly reply “Doctor, Lawyer, Pilot etc. They just know and believe that they can be what they want to be but then what happens along the way to stop them from fulfilling their childhood dreams? For one to discover his passion and nurse his passion to maturity he needs to be bold and courageous, for children, their parents and teachers have a duty to guide and not to discourage them to their destiny. One destiny discovered has a great impact in the world. Christopher Columbus at the discovery of his destiny gave rise to a new dimension and a new world. If he had reneged at the call of nature, if he had refused to follow his dream what could have happened? What about the Lander brothers, Mary Slessor and her passion for missionary work in Africa. Today that destiny discovered has liberated many twins and kept them alive to fulfill their own destinies. It was destiny that made Esther Queen in King Ahasuerus kingdom. Perhaps her destined royalty was for the liberation of her people- the Jews. The destiny of Christ in Christmas is the only reason for our living today. How about your own destiny?
