About the Author
Sally Pfoutz lives on a farm in Virginia with her husband Mark. She is also the author of the novel Red-tail. Her work has appeared in élan magazine, Hot Metal Bridge, The Washington Post, Country magazine and the anthology Grace & Gravity. Her poetry has appeared in Phoebe and Fugue. She received the 2001 Alice Abel National Literary Award.
