She was trapped! Her sister Kara was screaming uncontrollably through her bloody toothless mouth. Both her legs were twisted, outward the wrong way, straddling the hump on the floorboard. Her brother, Tommie, had no face only a sheet of thick, red, blood where his face should have been. There were trances of blood on the outer edges of the hole in the windshield. Jade's mind was spinning out of control with one single thought. "She is dead! She is dead!" She cringed and closed her eyes. She turned toward the car window not wanting to see anymore. "Please, please, I don't want to be here anymore!" She thought in desperation. As she shut her eyes, the nightmare that seemed real began to slip away. It was just another flashback nightmare. This one was more terrifying than the reoccurring nightmare she had experienced when she was six. The one where she would wake only to be blinded by the gyrating, white, circles of light she couldn't escape couldn't see past. Would her nightmares ever end?

About the Author

Sarah Tristan has written several short stories and children?s articles during the past fifteen years. Cheat Codes, is her first published novel and is what she hopes will be one of many stories to share with you. She is a life-time resident of Texas, as well as, being a great great great grand-daughter of the Pioneers of Texas. She holds a degree in Education and loves reading and viewing all types of science fiction drama. She is a certified scuba diver and loves to travel. Sarah is an avid outdoors woman who loves the exploration of nature and animals. Her second murder, mystery, novel entitled, Three, is in progress as you read this biography.
