About the Book

Mishka Zakharin's latest anthology, Mishka, Mishka, is really like five poetry collections in one

"Mishka's Polonaise #6 (in F)"-mellifluous musings on the love of lyricism and the lyricism of love

"Mishkabury Tales" collects a variety of tales to tell, rants to ramble, epics to enthrall

"Mishka's Blue Period", though nothing to do with Picasso more like "Muddy Mishka Sings the Blues"

"Bohemian Mishkapsody"-Beat or Bohemian?-licentious libertine or just plain wacky on the crackers?!

and "The Mishka Sutra", the thread of life-the ups, downs, and in-betweens of living

About the Author

Mishka Zakharin was born in 1970 in Watertown, Wisconsin?where his existence yet drones lackadaisically along? he graduated from the University of Wisconsin?Whitewater in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

The author of numerous poetry and short fiction anthologies, Mishka?s writing is at times darkly philosophical, at times absurdly humorous? sometimes sexy, other times morose? Of his writing, Mishka has said: ?What I?m really shooting for, is someplace between Shakespeare and Marx?specifically Groucho?? Other literary influences include Feodor Dostoyevski, Steve Martin, John Steinbeck, Monty Python, and Cori Lark?
