For What Price? I want your soul, I must confess, I know it's all that you possess, Consort with me, I need to know The "price," for which you'll Let it go........ Fortune! Fame! Would that be nice? What's your poison? Name your price! Passion, power, vanities? Would you Exchange your soul for these? Greed has always worked the best, But some have traded theirs for less, Empty promises do appeal, Long enough to "strike the deal," But some were "wise" and would not sell, They seemed to know their"value" well, These same did trade their souls to Christ, To Him who paid the "Highest Price," Eternal Life is His rare gem, And I cannot compete with Him! I have no such rare gem to trade, For everything I have will fade, I want your soul, I must confess, The only thing that you possess, Do not forget-----I long to know, The "price" for which you'll Let it go.............. Oh passing Death, Where is your sting?

Life is challenging. Cares and troubles can distract us from our goals and responsibilities, leading us to wonder what God's purpose is for our lives. In the midst of our suffering, learning how to deal with loneliness and despair is essential.
This collection of poetry, scripture, and commentary deals with some of life's experiences and reveals how wonderful it is to have Jesus Christ to see us through them. It also shows how we are His children and how we remain connected to His love despite our troubles. In addition, this book points to the work we have to do-both on ourselves and with others.
Without God's encouragement and strength, we as Christians-the "salt of the earth"-can lose our flavor. Don't let times of trouble, distress, or isolation rob you of your precious connection with God. Salt of the Earth will be a source of support and power that will motivate you to persevere!
