Impact Others by Sharing Your Story and Achieve Author Success
Emma Lou Warner Thayne is no stranger to writing and publishing a book. Before publishing The Place of Knowing with iUniverse, she published 13 works, including poetry, essays and works of fiction. But for her 14th title, she was inspired to publish for a much different purpose: to share an eye-opening life experience.
This time, it’s about sharing her experience with others
Warner Thayne was inspired to write The Place of Knowing after she experienced a near-death experience as a result of a car accident. After the accident, she needed a way to process the experience and understand how it changed her. Warner Thayne came back with a promise to share her new understanding with others. Putting her experience into words, Warner Thayne discovered that she not only helped herself through the act of writing, but she now had a way to retell her story for years to come.
Turning her experience into a book
When Warner Thayne was ready to publish her book, she used iUniverse’s Select publishing package. In addition to this package, Warner Thayne used services such as Cover Copy Polish, Amazon "Look Inside" and Google Preview, Barnes & Noble "Read Instantly" Feature and Booksellers Return Program. The Place of Knowing was recognized by the Editor’s Choice and the Rising Star Recognition Program. With the help of iUniverse, Warner Thayne was able to turn her personal experience into something tangible that she could share with others.
