In addition to this fee, you'll be responsible for a monthly site hosting and customer support fee of $29 payable to American Author for as long as you want your Web site to be available on the Internet. You won't be charged monthly fees until your book is published and your Web site is live, and you can cancel at any time by contacting American Author directly.

Here's How It Works

1. Purchase the Author Web Site service directly from iUniverse and receive the additional benefits of Web pages pre-loaded with your book's cover, back cover promotional copy, author bio, ISBN and retail price. You may purchase the service at the same time you buy your publishing package, or if you've already published a book with us, simply log into your myUniverse account and purchase the service as an upgrade to your current title(s).
2. Within two business days, representatives from American Author will contact you via e-mail and telephone to introduce you to their service, set up your account and help you get started. They'll also direct you to various free resources designed to help you create an attractive and effective Web site, including online videos, Webinars and a Learning Center.
3. When your book has completed the publishing process, iUniverse will send your cover graphic, back cover promotional copy, author bio, price and ISBN to American Author. American Author will use this basic information to set up a Web site that you can customize using various graphics and templates. If you have published more than one title with iUniverse, we'll send information for all of your books to American Author for inclusion on your Web site at no extra charge.
4. You'll be able to change your Web site's appearance and add new content for as long as you subscribe to American Author's services by paying the $29 per month hosting/customer support fee. If at any time, you choose to cancel, you may do so by contacting American Author directly.
