Harlem Writers Guild Publishing Package

We've teamed with the Harlem Writers Guild to create a publishing program available only to Guild members.

Please note that your manuscript must be qualified by the Guild prior to submission.

How It Works:

1. Edit and proofread your manuscript.
2. Submit it to iUniverse.
3. Review your online proof and approve it.
4. Receive your published book in the mail!

Guidelines for Submission:

All Harlem Writers Guild members are required to complete the Title Submission Form. The completed form must be e-mailed as an attachment to Grace Edwards at . You will be notified via e-mail of your acceptance into the program.

Your submission package should include the following:

• A printed copy of your acceptance letter from the Harlem Writers Guild
• A labeled disk containing:
  • A completed electronic file of the Title Submission Form
  • Your manuscript file in Microsoft Word
  • A cover graphic (if any)
• A printed and signed copy of the Harlem Writers Guild contract
• A printed and signed copy of the Title Submission Form (.doc, 270KB)
• Payment of publishing fees ($134 for Harlem Writers Guild members). Payment can be in the form of a check or money order made payable to iUniverse or a credit card number, expiration date and name of cardholder typed in your Title Submission Form (AMEX, Visa, MC, Discover).
